FitPros.io ("we", "us", or "our") operates the FitPros.io platform, including the website at fitpros.io, the coach dashboard, and client-facing mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. Coaches may also provide business information such as their business name, logo, and specializations.

Client Data

Coaches enter client information into the platform, which may include client names, email addresses, workout programs, progress photos, body measurements, and notes. This data is controlled by the coach and processed by FitPros.io on their behalf.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, device type, browser type, IP address, and referring URLs. We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Ahrefs Analytics for this purpose.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to Pro Tools or purchase programs, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Create and manage your account
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Send marketing communications (with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time)

3. How We Share Your Information

  • Service providers: third parties that help us operate the Service (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting and authentication, Stripe for payments, AWS SES for email delivery)
  • Coach-client relationship: when a client uses the platform, their coach can view their workout data, progress, and profile information

  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), Firebase Authentication, and Firestore security rules to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications
